In-Home Consultation

Uncertain how to improve your property or the process involved? We offer in-home design consultations to assist by providing information and insight into various design solutions for your individual space before beginning or considering a project.
Consultations are a great initial step into redesigning your property, without the high investment or commitment. Instead, we will provide recommendations for prudent renovations where beneficial, aesthetic ideas and proposals on colour pairings, functionality insights. We will also discuss the flow of your layout, as well areas of the existing home to highlight by not altering. Whether you’re interested in updating your furniture selection or adding an addition, we offer an idea of the scope of your project, approximate price range and time expectations, and personalized recommendations.
If you are hesitant about going forward with your interior or exterior design ideas, this is an ideal starting point.
Full Service Interior / Exterior Design

Using the exact dimensions of your property, Robert Designs strives to create a space that blends beauty and functionality, whether that be for a home or commercial building.
Interior and Exterior designs begin with ideation and mood boards, and once we have a concept our clients love, we move into the modeling stage. Using our industry-standard software, we digitally re-create your space with the true dimensions (including newly designed buildings, or preexisting ones), and detail everything included. This comprises of materials, lighting, furniture selection, and anything else you could possibly want. All build/permit plans are reviewed in consultation with Professional Engineers and drafted by a BCIN certified designer.

Note: We can produce interior/exterior design plans without commitment to building, however, if you wish for us to assist bringing your project to life we recommend our services to capitalize on our designer discounts on materials that we pass along to our clients.
Brand Identity Design

Floor plans are a delicate process that often run into a lot of complications in terms of maximizing every square foot within the home for functionality and flow. Not to mention the various building code constraints and individual site limitations. We can help with planning everything so that the construction can be as smooth as possible. All plans reviewed by engineers, designed for permit submission and approval, and are BCIN certified.
Staging

Are you considering selling your house or just moved into your forever home? Filling it with professionally curated furniture and decor is a great way to help the property feel personal, and high-end. As part of our full-scale design service, or as a dedicated offering, we're able to help with your personal, bespoke interior stage design and assist with the curation of items throughout the space.

We curate the items needed for staging as well the labour for assembly and placement, and the furniture will stay rented until for 1 month, with an additional monthly charge afterwards.
Mood Boards

Mood boards are the standard in-depth method for finding inspiration and planning a project. They provide a jumping off point and a reference for where to go next. Our mood boards are curated to fit your needs and wants, and give recommendations for furniture, colours, finishes, etc, as well where to find individual items for the best price.

Whether you have received a complete interior design package from Robert Designs or not, our aim is to create beautiful solutions to enhance your home and assist you in bringing those visions to life.

Part 3 of our full-scale interior design process involves us working with you to source the appropriately skilled and reputable professional trades to accomplish the works designed. We will oversee and supervision the implementation of our design plans to ensure the vision is not lost during the build, and that the construction is accomplished to our high standard of quality we demand of ourselves.

By virtue of our founder and lead designer being a BCIN certified House designer, we have the resources to create designs that meet and exceed the Ontario building code, submit our construction designs on your behalf, and facilitate the construction of your project from start to finish.
Custom Commissioned Piece

In addition to assisting with completing larger build projects, our small team has the skills and network necessary to commission custom build pieces for their spaces. Custom cabinetry, custom desks for retail spaces, ancient Venetian plastering techniques for custom fireplaces or range-hoods are some examples of commissioned works we can help with.
